OK - I should have posted this awhile ago - but I am thinking I must have been traumatized so I put it off a bit. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago we were at my mom's house and Thomas was playing with a small football (that happened to be very flat). He was biting on the end of it and poking me with the other end - so I grabbed the ball and pulled it out... along with his tooth. Oh my - there was screaming (freaked Thomas out and I am sure it probably hurt!) as well as lots of blood. I felt horrible!!! Though I have to say he had to eventually lose a tooth - he is the only one in his class that has not lost one yet. Anyway, after about 10 minutes of freaking out - I finally calmed him down by telling him the "Tooth Fairy" brings $5.00 for the first tooth (yeah - shelled out big bucks for that one). Anyway, in the long run - it ended up okay - but sheesh!! Not a good night for me. Anyway, he lost his second one on Friday - he pulled it out himself at school. He was quite thrilled with the cool little tooth box he got but no so thrilled for the measly dollar he got. Oh well - teeth are becoming a very stressful thing at our house!

HE HE HE!! I shouldn't laugh, but I did that to misty when we were little !!but hey at least he got 5 bucks!!
That cracks me up! When A'Lisha pulled my tooth out I got sent down stairs to sleep (as a punishment for playing around since we were supposed to be in bed peacefully sleeping!). I wish I got $5 I don't think I would have been so traumatized!
That's funny! Too bad you didn't have it on video. I would have loved to see it on America's Funniest Home Videos! At least he didn't expect it. Well, I guess you weren't expecting it either. Maybe you should have gotten $5 under your pillow too :)
