Here are some more current pictures of Ella... I am so bad at taking pictures, but I thought we would give it a try this afternoon. There will be more - I promise. Ella is almost 4 months if you can believe it...time goes so fast. Anyway, it's a beautiful Sunday afternoon and I am off to spend some time with the family.

Ella's first trip to the great outdoors...
At the end of August, we decided to take a ride up the canyons on a Sunday afternoon. We ended up at the Spruces and had a picnic - it was fabulous. What a great way to start your week... all relaxed and rested. The kids were able to play and mom and dad rested... yes, we rested - crazy I know. What a beautiful place! I am sure we have found a new favorite day spot.

Uncle Mike Got Married...

Yes, our Uncle Mike got married (that would be my brother to all those who didn't know that I even had a brother). The girls were so excited because they got to be in beautiful dresses and get all sorts of dolled up to be in the wedding... Thom was excited because the reception was at a castle (a friend of the Bride who lives in a gargantuan house on a hill in Lindon). Thanks to our babysitter Beth for all her hard work at getting the kids ready. Andrew and I had to go help get the house ready for the reception and Beth graciously offered to bathe and dress our kids so that they were gorgeous for the wedding... I think she did a fabulous job. By the way, even baby Ella was able to wear a matching dress... but I refused to put her in it until we were up at the reception because spit-up can be so unpredictable. Anyway, I wish I had more pictures but with all of the hustle and bustle of the day, I totally forgot my camera. Beth took some pictures of the prep for me and tried to get one with all the kids but this is all we got.
The evening was a success and I really have never seen my brother so happy. The kids had a great time ... they met new friends and Thomas even got to play pinball for a while in their giant game room (it was one of 6 full size pinball machines by the way). What a fun night, but I must admit I was exhausted by the time it was all over - I think I was more busy at this wedding than I was at my own, but I was glad to be able to help my brother and Rebbecca.
