Everything is good!!
We finally got pictures from Mattie's blessing which I will be posting in the next few days. I have to say that she is such a blessing in our lives. I look at her and feel that even though she was a bit unexpected, she was needed in our family at this time. She is happy and full of energy and she brings a special peace to our house. I am so glad that she is here!!
Things are going to be crazy for the next month or so. This is my busy time at work - so much going on in such a short amount of time. Today was the first day of a yearly training I get to do all across the state. It went really well, but my assistant was sick so I had to wing part of it - only slightly stressful but it went well. My next ones will be in Salt Lake and than I will be heading down to Price and than St. George. I also have my grant report due as well as summer school for my counselors is starting - busy busy busy!! Oh well - I like it!
Andrew is doing well on his job, though I think it is having a bigger learning curve than he expected as well as he is not a huge fan of bein on the phone all day - but, it has been so nice to have him home in the evening and to be able to spend more time as a family/
Thomas is doing awesome in school!! However, he is not a huge fan of sitting He tells me that it is just too boring to sit there and sometimes he needs get up and see his friends. We are still working on that one! He will be starting swimming lessons this next week along with his sister and he is pretty excited about that. He got his first set of scriptures this week. He was so excited and insisted on sleeping with them. He is such a great kid and we are so glad he is in our family!
Kate is Kate - need I say more. She is our happy - drama queen - princess!! She loves shoes - more than I love shoes (I know -seems impossible). She got two new pairs of sandals for summer and insists on wearing one pair and bringing the other ones "just in case" every where we go. I really do think she thinks she is 20! The things she says just don't seem fitting for a three year old. Anyway, this girl makes me smile. She is so cute and so friendly. I have never seen any child love to be around people as much as she does - she is also such a blessing for our family.
